How to Make Bacon BBQ Burgers
Start by combining the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a large bowl and mixing everything together with your hands.
Then, divide your meat into 6 even sections, roll each section into a ball, and flatten into a hamburger patty.
Next, grill over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes on each side until you reach an internal temperature of 160° F.
During the last 3-4 minutes, brush each burger with 1/2 of the barbecue sauce.
Finally, serve on hamburger buns with cheese, remaining barbecue sauce, cooked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Enjoy!
Prep-Ahead Instructions:
In a large bowl combine the Ground Beef, Egg, Breadcrumbs, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Black Pepper, and Salt. Mix everything together using your hands until it’s well mixed. Divide meat into 6 even sections, Roll each section into a ball and flatten into a Hamburger Patty. Place individual patties in a Large Gallon Size Ziploc bag, separating with wax paper to keep them from sticking together and place in the refrigerator until ready to cook. (Note: I typically don’t store these in the fridge longer than 24-48 hours)
