How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken Verde Rice Bowls
Start by placing the Chicken, Salsa Verde, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Black Pepper, and Salt in a large slow cooker. Stir everything together and cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 6-8 Hours.
Next, shred the chicken using 2 forks and stir into the sauce mixture. Then, serve over rice and top with Cheese, Avocado, Tomato and Fresh Cilantro. Enjoy!

I LOVE that you can use this recipe as a prep-ahead option. This makes it even easier to create! In a large Ziploc Bag place the Chicken Breast, Salsa Verde, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Black Pepper, and Salt. Store in the refrigerator until ready to cook!

Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 32 oz. Salsa Verde
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 2 Cups Uncooked Rice, Prepared according to package directions
- 8 oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Avocados, Diced
- 2 Tomatoes, Seeded and Diced
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro
Instructions
