How to Make Honey Garlic Chicken & Rice
Begin by cutting your chicken breast into 1″ pieces, placing in a Ziploc bag, adding in your flour, salt, pepper, and onion powder, and shake the bag until your chicken is mixed well.

Then, combine and whisk your honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a small bowl and set aside.
Next, heat your olive oil, add in your floured chicken, and saute in a large skillet for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through.

After, add in your sauce mixture and bring to a boil, reduce to the heat to medium-low, and cook for 5-6 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
Finally, serve over rice or noodles and top with sesame seeds and green onions! Enjoy!

Prep-Ahead Instructions:
Place Chicken Pieces, Flour, Salt, Pepper, and Onion Powder in a Large Ziploc Bag. Seal the bag and shake until well mixed. In a separate air tight container combine the Honey, Soy Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Sesame Oil, and Minced Garlic and whisk everything together. Place the prepared chicken and sauce mixture in the refrigerator until ready to cook.

Honey Garlic Chicken & Rice is a delicious and easy stovetop dinner that's ready in 20 minutes!!
Ingredients
- 2 Lbs. Chicken Breast, Cut into 1" Pieces
- 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 3 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Honey
- 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Hoisin Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
- 2 Cups of Rice, Cooked according to Package Directions
- 1/2 Bunch Green Onions for Garnish (Optional)
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds for Garnish (Optional)
Instructions
