How to Make Iron Skillet Pizza

Start by whisking your flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large mixing bowl. Then, add your water and olive oil together in a measuring cup.

Next, slowly add your water mixture to your flour mixture and mix together as you do so.

You’ll mix the dough with a wooden spoon or your hands until the dough becomes soft, but not sticky, and well combined. If your dough is dry, add water a tablespoon at a time until the dough is soft.

Now, preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. While the pan heats, roll out your dough into a round shape that’s big enough to cover the bottom of your pan and allow the dough to relax and stretch if needed.

When the pan is preheated, remove from the oven and place on a wire rack. You’ll now sprinkle the bottom of your pan with corn meal and place the dough in the bottom of your pan. Careful, the pan will be hot!

Next, place your pan back in the oven, bake for 3-5 minutes, and remove when the dough starts to rise. After, brush the outer edges with olive oil and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, bringing it right to the edge of the pizza.

Then, top with mozzarella cheese and your favorite pizza toppings. You’ll bake for 10-12 minutes or until the mozzarella cheese is golden brown and the crust looks cooked through.

Slice and serve immediately! To store leftovers, just place your pizza in an airtight container in your refrigerator. Enjoy! You’ll love this one.
