Sausage and Hash Brown Casserole

Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour

This Sausage and Hash Brown Casserole is loaded with Cheesy Potatoes, Eggs, Sausage and more! It's the perfect recipe for Breakfast or Dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs. Breakfast Sausage
  • 26 oz. Bag of Frozen Shredded Hash Browns
  • 12 oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Bunch Green Onions for Garnish (optional)

Instructions

    1. Cook Sausage in a Large Skillet for 8-10 minutes over Medium-High Heat, until no longer pink and slightly browned.
    2. Add hash browns to the Skillet and cook until they start to soften and are warmed all the way through.
    3. Spread the hash browns and sausage mixture in the bottom of a greased 9x13 Baking Dish.
    4. In a large bowl whisk together the Eggs, Milk, Black Pepper, Salt, and Garlic Powder.
    5. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture. Cover with Cheese and bake in the oven at 350° F. for 45 minutes.

Notes

Prep Ahead Instructions -
Cook Sausage in a Large Skillet for 8-10 minutes over Medium-High Heat. Add hash browns to the Skillet and cook until warm. Spread the hash brown mixture in the bottom of a greased 9x13 Baking Dish. Whisk together the Eggs, Milk, Black Pepper, Salt, and Garlic Powder. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture. Cover with Cheese and cover with saran wrap or foil before storing in the refrigerator overnight.

Cooking Instructions -
Uncover and Bake in the oven at 350° F. for 45 Minutes.
