Ingredients Needed:

Meat – Sirloin steak

Pantry – Olive oil, ginger paste, hoisin sauce, Worcestershire sauce, rice

Seasoning – Salt and pepper

Produce – Red bell pepper, red onion, minced garlic

How to Make Skillet Pepper Steak

Start by adding in the ginger paste and hoisin sauce into a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat. You’ll then add in your steak and cook for around 10 minutes and then remove from the pan.

Next, add in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, minced garlic, bell peppers, and onion and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Finally, add your steak back into your pan and cook for another 1-2 minutes. You can choose to serve alone or with rice. Enjoy!

Prep-ahead Instructions:

In a large Ziploc bag combine the Steak Meat, Olive Oil, Ginger Paste, and Hoisin Sauce. Seal Bag tightly and set aside. In a separate bag slice the Red Bell Pepper, Green Pepper and Onion and seal tightly. Set both bags in the refrigerator until ready to cook.

Skillet Pepper Steak is a recipe that's ready to eat in under 30 minutes that's perfect for a busy night. It's packed with flavors the entire family will love!

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs. Sirloin Steak, Sliced Thin
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Ginger Paste
  • 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 Red Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • 1 Red Onion, Sliced
  • 1 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 Cups Rice, Cooked according to Package Directions

Instructions

  1. Heat Olive Oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the Ginger Paste and Hoisin Sauce and simmer. Slowly add in steak meat and cook around 10 minutes until the steak is cooked.
  2. Remove steak from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, Pepper, and Minced Garlic to the pan and stir together.
  4. Add in Bell Peppers and Onion and cook 3-4 Minutes.
  5. Add Steak back into the pan and cook another 1-2 minutes. Serve while warm alone or over rice (Optional).

Notes

Prep Ahead Instructions:

Cooking Instructions:

Dump the contents of the steak bag into a large skillet and cook on Medium-High Heat for about 10 minutes until steak is completely cooked. Remove steak from the pan and add the Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, Pepper, and Minced Garlic to the pan and stir together. Add in Bell Peppers and Onion and cook 3-4 Minutes. Add Steak back into the pan and cook 1-2 minutes. Cook rice as directed.
