Ingredients Needed

Meat – Ground Beef

Seasoning – Low sodium chili seasoning

Produce – Lettuce, green onions

Pantry – Diced tomatoes, chili beans, Fritos corn chips

Refrigerated – Shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa

How to Make Walking Tacos

Begin by cooking your ground beef in a large pan until no longer pink. Drain the fat and return to the pan.

Next, add in your diced tomatoes, chili beans, and the chili seasoning. Cook for 20 minutes over medium heat while stirring frequently.

Then cut the tops off the Frito packages and add in the beef mixture, top with cheddar cheese, salsa, lettuce, sour cream, and green onions. Enjoy!

Prep-Ahead Instructions:

Pre-Cook Ground Beef. In a large Ziploc bag combine the Ground Beef, Diced Tomatoes, Chili Seasoning, and Chili Beans. Mix well and place in the Refrigerator or Freezer until ready to use.

Walking Tacos are the best campout or on the run dinner! Each person gets their own serving in a Frito bag!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
  • 1 Package of Low Sodium Chili Seasoning
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Chili Beans, Drained
  • 6 - 1 oz. Packages of Fritos Corn Chips
  • 16 oz. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups Lettuce
  • 1 Bunch Green Onions, Sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, cook the Ground Beef until no longer pink. Drain fat and return to the pan.
