Ingredients Needed:

Chicken – Chicken breast, you can use rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken

Produce – Avocado

Dairy – Mexican blended cheese, sour cream

Pantry – Tortilla Chips, black beans, salsa

How to Make Skillet Chicken Nachos

If you’re using un-cooked chicken breast, you’ll start by pre-cooking your chicken breast in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. However, if you’re using leftover or rotisserie chicken, you can skip this step.

Now, spray an oven safe skillet or baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and layer your pan with chips, chicken, beans, onions, salsa, and cheese.

Then, place your skillet in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and top with sour cream and avocado before serving. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

If you want to save even more time on this recipe, use some leftover chicken or grab a rotisserie chicken. It saves you a lot of time when prepping this recipe.

Quick and Easy Skillet Chicken Nachos are the perfect Lunch or Dinner Idea that can be made using leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken for a quick and easy recipe the entire family will love!

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Chicken Breast, Cooked & Shredded
  • 10 oz. Tortilla Chips
  • 8 oz. Black Beans, Rinsed & Drained
  • 16 oz. Mexican Blended Cheese
  • 1 Cup Salsa
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Avocado, Diced

Instructions

  1. Pre-Cook Chicken Breast in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees if using uncooked chicken breast, or use Rotisserie Chicken
  2. Spray an Oven Safe Skillet or Baking Sheet with non-stick cooking spray
  3. Layer the pan with Chips, Chicken, Beans, Onions, Salsa, and Cheese
  4. Place in the Oven at 350 Degrees for 20 minutes
  5. Top with Sour Cream and Avocado before serving
