How to Make Slow Cooker Corned Beef
Start by adding your corned beef, fat side up, into your slow cooker.
Then, add in the spice packet that came with the corned beef to your slow cooker.
After, add the minced garlic pepper, and sugar to the top of the meat and rub it in.
Next, add the vinegar and bay leaf beside the corned beef to the bottom of the crock pot and add just enough water to come up to about 20% of the way to the top to the meat. How much you need to add will depend on the size of your corned beef roast and your slow cooker.
Finally, cook on low for 8-9 hours. If you’d like to add veggies or potatoes, add them during the last 3 hours of cooking.

- 3 lbs. Corned Beef, w/ Packet
- 1 Cup Water (Depends on the size of your slow cooker.)
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
Instructions
- First, add the Corned Beef, fat side up, to your slow cooker.
- Then, add in the Spice Packet that came with the Corned Beef to your slow cooker.
