We get in a dinner rut often in our home. If you do too and want to venture out for something new you will enjoy this kid-friendly pizza recipe. No staying for your diet, and something even picky eaters will gobble down.

In a pan heat oil and then start to cook your ground beef. Add in the onions and spices and seasonings. Cook until the beef is no longer pink, and fully crumbled.
Now you want to stir in the cream cheese and the pizza sauce. Pour it into your 9×13 baking pan.
Top with your shredded cheese and pepperoni slices. Bake in the oven as directed below.
What Cheese Is Best To Use
I used Mozzarella cheese. Now if you want to do half one kind of cheese and the other half another type of cheese or completely change it up go ahead.
We always enjoy mozzarella on cheese so this is what I went for.
What Is The Best Pan To Use
For this recipe, I used a 9×13 baking dish. Now, you can half the recipe and do an 8×8 or leave the recipe as is.
It will slice really nicely and be a tasty dinner for the whole family to enjoy.
If you have leftover casserole, just place in the fridge in a proper container. This will store for around 3 days. Just use your best judgement in terms of quality.
For freezing you will find that the cream cheese can kind of seperate and change the texture once it thaws from being frozen. I haven’t tried freezing but if you want to try it feel free.
Just know it could be a different texture when you go to eat it, in terms of the sauce.
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1/2 Onion, Diced
- 1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
- 8 oz. Pizza Sauce
- 4 oz. Cream Cheese
- 16 oz. Mozzarella Cheese
- 6 oz. Pepperoni
- Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add in Onion, Ground Beef, Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder and Black Pepper, then cook until the beef is cooked completely and starting to brown.
- Add in Cream Cheese and Pizza Sauce and stir until the cream cheese is melted.
- Place meat mixture into a 9x13 baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Top with Mozzarella Cheese and Pepperoni.
- Bake at 350 Degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese starts to brown slightly.
- Allow to cool before serving so the cheese will help hold everything together.
Optional: Add in your favorite vegetables and toppings like Green Peppers, Olives, Bacon and more!
