Ingredients Needed:

Chicken – Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I prefer thin pieces for this recipe.

Seasoning – Chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper

Condiments – Mayonnaise, Honey

Produce – Onion, tomato, head of lettuce

Pantry – Hamburger buns, olive oil

Dairy – Cheddar cheese

Refrigerated – Orange juice

How to Make Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

Start by combining the chicken breast, olive oil, honey, orange juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. in a large Ziploc bag. Seal tightly and store in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until ready to cook.

Next, grill chicken breasts over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165° F.

Finally, serve on fresh or grilled buns topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayonnaise. Enjoy!

Prep-Ahead Instructions

This Grilled Chicken Sandwich recipe couldn't be any easier and it's AMAZINGLY delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, I like the thin pieces for this recipe
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Package of Hamburger Buns
  • 6 Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Head of Lettuce
  • 2 Tomatoes, Sliced
  • 1 Onion, Sliced
  • 2 oz. Mayonnaise
