Produce – Onion, red bell pepper, celery, minced garlic

Pantry – Barbecue sauce, beef broth

Seasoning – Salt, black pepper

How to Make Slow Cooker BBQ Pot Roast

You’ll start by placing your roast in the bottom of a 6 qt. or larger slow cooker. Then, add in your onion, bell pepper, celery, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

After, cover with your BBQ sauce and beef broth.

Finally, cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours until it falls apart with a fork. You’ll want to watch carefully the last 2 hours, every slow cooker cooks differently. Enjoy! This one is so easy.

Prep-Ahead Instructions

In a Large Ziploc Bag or your Slow Cooker combine the Roast, Onion, Bell Pepper, Celery, Minced Garlic, Salt, Pepper, BBQ Sauce, and Beef Broth. Seal bag tightly or cover with plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator until ready to cook.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Lb. Beef Roast
  • 1 Onion, Sliced
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • 2 Ribs of of Celery, Diced
  • 1 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 8 oz. BBQ Sauce
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
