What To Serve With Ham And Beans
You are welcome to eat your ham and beans plain or serve up your favorite sides. I will share a few ways we pair things with our beans.
- Cornbread
- Dinner Rolls
- Side Salad
- Collard Greens
- Etc
What Beans To Use In Recipe
I might be a bit different but I use two different kinds of beans. Cannellini and Pinto beans.
We purchase canned beans, then drain off the liquid and give them a rinse, and then you are ready to toss in.
If you use dry beans the cook time will need to be a bit longer, as it takes time for it to soften. And a note to cooking with dry beans, never open the lid as it will make it to where your beans might not soften properly.
