Boneless chicken – Any boneless chicken will work great for this recipe. If you want bone-in you will need to cook your chicken longer, ensuring it cooks all the way through.

Brown Sugar – I used a light brown sugar but you can use dark if you want.

Seasonings – Minced garlic, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.

Step One: Start by adding all the seasonings into a bag and then toss chicken in and coat. You will want to coat all sides of your chicken.

Step Two: Marinate the chicken as directed in the recipe card.

Step Three: Heat up your grill and start grilling up the chicken getting both sides cooked evenly.

Pro Tip: Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165 degrees internally. All chicken will cook differently depending on the thickness.

How to Prep Ahead Of Time

This is the perfect recipe to prep the night before so when you come home from work you can toss on the grill. Or you can make it in the morning, and then cook in the evening.

The longer the marinated soaks with the chicken the richer of flavor the chicken will have.

Storing Leftover Chicken

Refrigerate – Store your chicken in the fridge, or opt to freeze leftovers. You can store in an airtight container or bag and eat within 3-4 days of storing it.

Freezing – Freezing leftover chicken is another option. Just store in the proper freezer friendly container. Thaw the chicken in the fridge the night before you plan to eat.

Vacuum sealing your chicken is a fantastic way to extend the life of your food. I love our food saver it is a great item to use for all types of meals, leftovers, and pre-packaging meats and such.
