If you enjoy grilling, you will love this simple garlic lemon chicken. Fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley and some olive oil are all you need.
Lemon Garlic Chicken
Throw this chicken on the grill, pair with potatoes, pasta salad, grilled vegetables or any other favorite sides.
Can I Use Bone In Chicken
If you prefer to use a bone in chicken, go right ahead. You just need to cook the chicken longer. Depending on the cut and size will vary in how long you need to grill.
How to Know Chicken Is Fully Cooked
You will use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165 degrees internally. If you use bone in meat, don’t touch the bone with thermometer or it will give a false reading.
Also, check to ensure the chicken is no longer pink when you cut into it, and juices run clear.
Storing And Meal Prepping
If you have extra chicken on hand, go right ahead and refrigerate it. Grilled lemon chicken is great to eat cold the next day. We love to dive it up and pile on top a crisp green salad.
Or you can meal prep with the chicken paired with mixed vegetables, rice, etc. the grilled breasts are wonderful to meal prep for lunches or even dinners.
A no fuss mom win for sure. Kids and adults all love this recipe.
Can I Double Recipe
Make as much or as little as you would like with this chicken. The biggest thing is to measure correctly and batch cook. If you don’t have enough room, batch cook.
Ensure your chicken is in a single layer and not touching. Otherwise, you will run into uneven cooking with undercooked areas.
Best Grill to Use
Indoor or outdoor will work for this recipe. I prefer grills that I can control the heat for and even cook. .
If you only have a charcoal grill just do your best on the heat and adjust the cooking time as needed.
Indoor grills are great as well. No matter rain or shine you have a delicious grilled chicken to serve up.
