How to Make Slow Cooker Beef Gyros

Step 1: Start by making the tzatziki sauce! Add your cucumber, Greek Yogurt, dill, sugar, and salt. Mix well. You will want to refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 2: You will want to mix up your ingredients and then pour them into your slow cooker. Then place your beef roast on the top.
Turn to low and place the lid on. Let it cook for 8 hours.

What Is The Best Way to Cut Up Beef
You can dice into cubes or shred like we did. Either route works. If you plan to cut into chunk, just pre-cut the roast while it is raw.
That way it can really soak up all the flavor all around each slice of the beef roast.
Can I Swap Out The Beef Roast For This Recipe
If you don’t want to use a pot roast you can swap with a steak. Flank steak, sirloin, or even chuck steak can be swapped in.
I find feeding my family a roast works great as it makes a lot and feeds my hungry family.
What Are The Best Cucumbers to Use For Sauce
I find that English cucumbers are great for this mixture. Or you might know these cucumbers. Now you can use a classic cucumber, go right ahead and swap it with those.
It is all personal preference. So go right ahead and pick any cucumbers.

Best Way to Store Leftovers
If you have leftovers, I recommend storing your meat seperate in the fridge. Then place any leftover sauce in another covered container. That way your foods don’t mix and then you can’t reheat.
This mixture will store for around three days in the fridge. As always you need to use your best judgment in terms of quality of the food.
